That's a Containment Pearl! Yuna and her other "Starborne" brothers and sisters are tasked with observing the many galaxies of the universe, and they do so through such pearls. Without getting too detailed about it, they're basically snowglobes for galaxies, though they're not quite literally physically inside the pearls. Yuna's no god or giant, after all. Just a wee lass.
