Similar, but much smaller, flatter mouth, a long phallic-like object instead of a dish, and are far more passive. Females are the dominant gender of the species and their society.

Yes, but their main strength comes from their increased intelligence when in groups. Think like an organic version of the Geth from Mass Effect.
