I love Yume Nikki, and I think it's good; But I wouldn't call it good in the traditional sense. It's a niche game.

It's really just a game where you walk around and sometimes see something interesting, so I can't recommend it unless that sounds appealing to you. The short, looping music and the variety of worlds to explore all have a different atmosphere. Some places are scary, others are peaceful, some feel alien.
