Those pins are tail feelers. Some pacapillars have object type heads, head feelers, tails etc.

Yep! They're meant to be flashing between different numbers (since they're meant to be weird mystical pool ball eyes) but I figured "freeze framing" on a set of two balls would be good enough.

Although they are not in wartime, they are very similar! After all, another republic dropped a nuclear bomb on Neo (their place of residence, including Au5! Jacob what’s on the art)!
My universe has an AU, and this AU is AU5 - where the characters find themselves in conditions after a nuclear bomb
So yes - canned food is very tasty for them 😋
