I was poking at her for a bit here and there after work for something like 9 months lol. It really took me a long time because I was stubbornly trying to learn everything from scratch, plus all the vrchat avatar stuff like face tracking and toggles! and I kept going off to play games instead...
I think a big thing that made it complicated was that the thick black outline on her is actually part of the mesh, and I did it pretty early on - it made future small changes into a big hassle! xP I learned a ton from this model so everything since has taken way less time thankfully
