GSM stands for "grams per square meter", which is the international standard for measuring the thickness (or weight) of paper. In the US, it is measured in pounds. So, if you're in US, this paper sheet is approximately 60 lb ("Cover" type), if I counted correctly... (this system is a little confusing for me, hehe). A3 is the size of a paper sheet. This one is 29.7 x 42 cm, which is 11.693 x 16.535 in. I hope I explained clearly ^^'
