Pretty much. Still tinkering with the specifics of his origin story, but the basic idea is that he finds a pair of gauntlets in a dumpster and gets superpowers from them... only to end up in a rivalry with a weapons dealer/inventor known for making robots, who he later finds out *made* the gauntlets.

Edit; And writing this out loud gave me an idea that could help with said story. My original plan was him being a legal weapons manufacturer for government militaries, but I can see him being more of a supplier for criminals; making his willingness to kill a teenager rather than just take them to court far more believable.

So... uh, thanks for prompting me into replying, you just accidentally made writing this a whole lot easier.

Assuming you're referring to the squid guy, that's actually a space alien... who happens to be the boss of those two dudes in suits, and *also* the boss of the Skalgan Jacket*
